Meet Griffin McCook better known as Fauna. Fauna is a 19 year old artist born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Fauna has been surrounded by music his entire life making it a big part of his own life. He started off young going to concerts with his mom and would even put on little concerts for his family.
Fauna started making his first set of music in 2015. He admits back then he was still finding his sound and who he wanted to be. He first started off teaching himself how to edit and produce his music on Youtube until he finally met with his Producer Ross. He was what helped him really change and find his path. Along with Ross, He feels the same as Ambrose Jakob. He was in the studio a lot with him and found him helpful to bounce ideas off with.
His music is constantly changing as he gets different inspiration from different artists. He likes to base his songs off of whatever he is listening to. He loves all types of music so it is hard for him to narrow it down to just one. His dream collaboration would be Prince or Michael Jackson if they were both still alive. But out of everyone right now, he would choose Drake. Drake has always been in his top 5 artists since being in the second grade.
Fauna's most recent song is called “ Nothing Without Me”. This song is all about the hard times that he had with his last toxic relationship and how he overcame it. You can find this song along with his newest project he just dropped “ Nostalgic” with Ambrose Jakob. He has a new project that will be in the works soon so make sure to keep Fauna in your watch list.
