The breakout Youtube artist recently broke the news that he signed with the distribution company ONErpm, and their parent company Verge Records.
Vaboh’s sound originally broke through the underground scene in 2019, with his song “I’m sick of trying” reaching over 1,000,000 views in it’s first few months. Today the BangersOnly upload on Youtube has over 15,000,000 plays with the rest of his catalog topping over 80,000,000 combined streams.
The artist speaks on overcoming dark thoughts and rough times with his melancholy melodies. Most his tracks are self produced with some major tracks produced by Tundra Beats.
Vaboh commented that he plans to reveal a new version of himself, stating he’s going to hold nothing back in regards to his message.
“I’ve always felt a pressure to somewhat tone down what I say, what I do or what I wear. I think with how crazy 2020 has been… something just clicked in my mind… and I’m ready to just do, wear and say whatever I want. I hope in doing this I can inspire some people to do the same. Just be fucking free.”
